Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Puggle IT website, mentorship platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under the age required by law, you must have parental or guardian consent.
2. Accounts & Security
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during account creation and for keeping your credentials secure.
- Social login via Google, Facebook, or Apple is supported. You authorize us to access certain info from those accounts consistent with their terms and your settings.
- You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.
3. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, or abusive activity.
- No attempts to gain unauthorized access, probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities.
- No interference with or disruption of the Services, including via bots or automated scraping beyond what is permitted.
- Respect others. Harassment, hate speech, and spamming are prohibited.
4. Mentorship Program
- Mentorship features include tasks, messaging, meeting scheduling, and mentor-mentee assignments using Firestore collections such as
tasks,meetings, andmenteeMentors/mentorMentees. - Mentors and mentees are responsible for appropriate conduct and for complying with applicable laws and professional standards.
- We may monitor or review content for compliance and safety, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
- Payments for mentorship programs and training services are governed by our Refund Policy. Once a program has commenced, payments become non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Payments
Certain Services offered by Puggle IT require payment. Transaction records such as amount, currency, payment status, method, and transaction reference may be stored for record-keeping purposes. Sensitive card or banking information is processed securely by third-party payment processors, including Flutterwave, and is not stored on our servers.
By making a payment, you agree to the pricing, billing terms, and service description presented at the time of purchase. Payment obligations vary depending on whether the Service is a mentorship program, training service, SaaS subscription, or project-based engagement.
Refunds, cancellations, and payment reversals are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy or required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable.
Customers are encouraged to contact Puggle IT directly regarding billing concerns before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in service suspension and submission of transaction evidence to payment processors.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services, including content, features, and functionality, are owned by Puggle IT or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.
8. Third-Party Services
We integrate with third-party services, including Firebase and payment processors. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUGGLE IT AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Puggle IT from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from or related to your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful or harmful conduct.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Puggle IT is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for disputes will be in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
