1. Introduction

Welcome to the Puggleit Mentorship Platform. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation as a mentee in our mentorship program. By enrolling and making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Payment and Refund Policy

2.1 Enrollment Fee

As a mentee, you are required to pay a one-time enrollment fee of $110 USD. This fee is fully refundable and will be returned to you in increments as you complete and receive approval for tasks assigned during your mentorship journey.

2.2 Refund Mechanism

Your enrollment fee is refunded through our reward system. You earn rewards for each task you complete and have approved. The total rewards earned at the end of the program will equal the equivalent of your $110 USD enrollment fee, converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.

2.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Flutterwave. You will receive a receipt via email from both Flutterwave and Puggleit upon successful payment. All payment information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

3. Task Completion and Rewards System

3.1 Task Assignment

Tasks will be assigned to you by your mentor(s) or through the platform. Each task comes with specific requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria. It is your responsibility to review and understand each task before beginning work.

3.2 Task Completion Requirements

  • Time Frame: Each task must be completed within the specified deadline. Tasks completed after the deadline will not be eligible for rewards.
  • Minimum Completion Time: To prevent gaming the system, tasks require a minimum of 2 hours of work before submission. Tasks completed too quickly may be flagged for review.
  • Maximum Completion Time: Tasks must be completed within 7 days from the start date. Tasks not completed within this timeframe will not qualify for rewards.
  • Quality Standards: Tasks must meet the quality standards set by your mentor. Incomplete or substandard work will not be approved.

3.3 Task Submission and Review Process

  1. Complete the Task: Work on the task until you have completed all requirements and subtasks.
  2. Submit Evidence: Submit proof of completion, which may include:
    • Links to GitHub Pull Requests
    • Links to deployed projects or websites
    • Screenshots or documentation
    • Any other evidence requested by your mentor
  3. Mentor Review: Your mentor will review your submission and either:
    • Approve: Task meets all requirements and quality standards
    • Reject: Task does not meet requirements (you may resubmit after making corrections)
  4. Reward Eligibility: Rewards are only awarded for tasks that are approved by your mentor. Tasks that are rejected or not submitted will not earn rewards.

3.4 Reward Amount

Upon mentor approval, you will earn 4.17% of your enrollment fee per completed and approved task (by completing all subtasks for a task).

3.5 Reward Hold Period

After a task is approved by your mentor, rewards are held for 7 days before becoming available for withdrawal. This hold period ensures quality and prevents gaming of the system. During this period, rewards are visible in your account but cannot be withdrawn.

4. Withdrawal Policy

4.1 Minimum Withdrawal Amount

You must accumulate a minimum balance of 16.68% (4.17% x 4) of your enrollment fee, i.e., completing 4 tasks and all task approved by your mentor before you can submit a withdrawal request. This minimum ensures efficient processing and reduces transaction fees.

4.2 Withdrawal Request Process

  1. Ensure your reward balance meets the minimum withdrawal amount
  2. Verify that all completed tasks have been approved by your mentor
  3. Confirm that the 7-day hold period has passed for all rewards you wish to withdraw
  4. Submit a withdrawal request with your bank account details (bank name, account number, account name)
  5. Wait for admin approval and processing (typically 3-5 business days)

4.3 Withdrawal Limits

  • Maximum of 1 withdrawal request per week to prevent abuse
  • You cannot have multiple pending withdrawal requests at the same time
  • Withdrawal requests are subject to admin approval and may be rejected if there are concerns about task quality or system abuse

4.4 Admin Approval

All withdrawal requests are reviewed and approved by Puggleit administrators. Approval is based on:

  • Verification of task completion and approval
  • Compliance with all terms and conditions
  • Account standing and history
  • Absence of fraud or gaming patterns

If your withdrawal request is rejected, you will be notified with a reason. You may address the issue and resubmit your request.

4.5 Payment Processing

Once approved, withdrawals are processed via bank transfer to the Nigerian bank account you provided. Processing typically takes 3-5 business days. You are responsible for providing accurate bank account information. Puggleit is not liable for funds sent to incorrect account details provided by you.

5. Anti-Gaming and Fraud Prevention

To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of our mentorship program, we have implemented several measures:

  • Rate Limiting: Maximum of 10 task completions per hour to prevent rapid, low-quality submissions
  • Time Validation: Tasks require a minimum of 2 hours of work before submission, preventing instant or rushed completions
  • Fraud Detection: Automated systems monitor for suspicious patterns, including rapid completions, duplicate submissions, or gaming attempts
  • Mentor Verification: All tasks require mentor approval before rewards are released
  • Reward Hold Period: 7-day hold ensures quality and prevents immediate withdrawal of potentially fraudulent rewards

Violations of these measures may result in:

  • Rejection of task submissions
  • Deduction of rewards
  • Suspension of withdrawal privileges
  • Account suspension or termination

6. Mentee Responsibilities

As a mentee, you are responsible for:

  • Completing tasks within the specified timeframes and quality standards
  • Providing accurate and verifiable evidence of task completion
  • Maintaining honest and professional conduct throughout the mentorship program
  • Communicating with your mentor(s) regarding task progress and any challenges
  • Providing accurate bank account information for withdrawals
  • Complying with all platform rules and terms of service
  • Not attempting to game, manipulate, or abuse the reward system

7. Platform Rights and Modifications

Puggleit reserves the right to:

  • Modify task requirements, deadlines, or reward amounts with reasonable notice
  • Reject or require resubmission of tasks that do not meet quality standards
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate terms or engage in fraudulent activity
  • Adjust reward calculations or hold periods to prevent abuse
  • Update these terms and conditions with notice to mentees
  • Investigate and take action on suspected fraud or gaming attempts

8. Limitation of Liability

Puggleit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the mentorship program. While we strive to ensure fair and timely processing of rewards and withdrawals, delays may occur due to technical issues, bank processing times, or administrative review. Puggleit is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect bank account information provided by mentees.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By making the enrollment payment and participating in the Puggleit Mentorship Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with enrollment or payment.
